PowerExif support EXIF standard. All applications which also support EXIF standard can read out the EXIF data in images edited by PowerExif. You can try it before order.

Which coloum gives me the actual number of shots that have been taken?
Administrator
2006-03-02 01:53
IExif can show the total number of shutter releases only for Nikon D2X, D2H, D70, D50 and later.
Right click the picture directly created by your camera, and find a tag named "total number of shutter releases for camera" in the bottom of IExif window. The EXIF data of image must be unabridged.

Cannot find image file form "Temporary Internet Files"
This is the message I get when I try to view EXIF info via right-click in IE6. I have the latest version (2.25) of IExif and Win XP Pro SP2. I restarted my computer and that didn't make a difference. What else do I need to do?
Thanks,
Mike

Clean the cache of Internet Explorer and reload the JPEG file in IE.

Thanks, I tried that, but it didn't help. Actually, I did discover that I only have this problem when I query a picture in Google Groups. I cannot access images in my Temporary Internet Files that came from a Google Groups page. Otherwise, the plugin works well!
Thanks,
Mike

Please copy the URL of the image which IExif cannot read EXIF data out, and paste the URL here.
I need to batch modify the EXIF TIME in 900 pictures, advancing the HOUR in 4 minutes, in order to keep them syncronized with a different camera. 2000 pictures taken at the same event.
Hard to organize.
Is there a way out with OPANDA ?
Administrator
2006-02-21 18:16
Opanda PowerExif Pro allow batch processing, but it is only for importing EXIF data of some one jpeg/tiff file as a template file into a batch of images. We are going to support the function of batch logistical modification in future.

Although the stats look like there aren't may Opera users, most of us have Opera set to report as IE6 to get around compatibility-checks.

It is stated that the code is sent to you....to the Paypal verified email or a address or ??
This section needs much better and thurough clarification for those of us that are willing and gladly want to support your software. please reply ASAP, so I can use this great tool!!

Hi Raffi,
We have received your order of PowerExif Standard by PayPal and reply to you.
If you want to upgrade to Pro, please don't pay attention to our reply, and make an upgrade order.
I've recently bought DigitalFilm and I'm meeting some problems in using it:
- I'm able to register it with the key you sent me, but I often have to re-register it - it often crashes right at the beginning before being able to do any useful work (sometimes on exit)
I disinstalled it, and performed a re-install, but the behaviour did not change. Looking at OnlineSupport I've seen that someone else had a similar behaviour. Any solution ready available? A more robust, even if older version to try?
My computer is a Dell Optiplex 620, Pentium 630 (HyperThreading enabled), 160GB Hard Disk, 2GB Ram, Windows XP Professional SP2 preinstalled by Dell, Gigabyte N6600 Turbo edition graphic card.
Looking forward,

Sorry so late to reply your message because we are spending Chinese New Year these days.
The matter is that there are not the mfc42.dll file in your system or the mfc42.dll is too old. Please download the DLL file and copy it into system folder.
Attention please: > If you're using Windows 98/Me, the Windows system fold is: "System" folder in Windows folder > If you're using Windows 2K/XP/2003, the Windows system fold is: "System32" folder in Windows folder > The above action is maybe DANGEROUS, so you'd better backup the original file first.

RIGHT NOW WHEN I USE THE FREE TRIAL MY FILES SHRINK TO SMALL 400KB FILES WHICH MAKES IT DIFFICULT TO PRINT. IF I USE THE PAID REGISTERED PROGRAM WILL MY FILES SHRINK ALSO?
PLEASE LET ME KNOW

Sorry so late to reply your message because we are spending Chinese New Year these days.
The Demo of DigitalFilm will limit the size of result and print a watermark of product on the result. There will not be these limit in registered product.
Open Multiple Files

2006-01-26 06:53
I downloaded the trial, it looked good - until I realized you have to click OPEN then select each file individually!! Is there no way to go "NEXT" and load the next image in the directory, or open multiple files at once and have them shown as thumbnails? I don't want to do a batch edit, just edit each file separately without having to open them one by one.
Shutter cycles - D70S

I cannot locate any reference to shutter cycles in a D70S NEF file converted to jpeg. Must the file be shot in jpeg to display this feature?
Admin
2005-11-04 00:10
EXIF data may be missed or cut part off while you convert NEF into JPEG.
JPEG file is not always required to be took directly by your D70s.
IExif will show the shutter number of your D70s as long as EXIF data is complete in JPEG or TIFF file.

I downloaded the trial version to check this, I shot in NEF and JPEG and there is nothing relating to shutter count in any file using opanda(latest version) Does this feature simply not work on the D70s?

2006-01-16 00:16
Everytime I tried to download http://www.opanda.com/en/download/IExif_2.25_en.exe
It wouldn't allow me to download the whole file... I tried at least 4 times and everytime, it said the file was not even 1mb and so of course when it "finished" downloading, it wouldn't install because the whole file wasn't actually there. I had to download the file from another source, not opanda.com.
Not to mention despite the fact that the file was smaller then it should have been, it still took forever to download and my broadband connection was running smoothly, no problems on my end. Fix your website!

TIF thumbnails corrupted

Hi
When I modify EXIF data in TIF files (batch or singly), the TIFF thumbnail seems to get corrupted. At least in applications which use this (e,g BreezeBrowser) the thzumbnail can no longer be displayed
Any ideas?

1. Create thumbnail for a Tiff file whithout thumbnail: Open a TIFF file without thumbnail in PowerExif, click "Add" to popup a window, select "thumbnail" tab and tick off the "thumbnail" item, click OK.
2. Rebuild the thumbnail Turn back to main interface, double click the "thumbnail" item, then click "modify" in a new window to edit the thumbnail, resize the "Dimension" and click "Rebuild", adjust scaled to "best fit" and OK, save the result. You will get back the thumbnail.
Of course, PowerExif allow you import other image as the thumbnail of the TIFF file.

Firefox 1.5/Win 98 install

I have been using IExif 1.8 with earlier versions of Firefox and have just upgraded to Firefox 1.5. I removed IExif 1.8 via Control Panel/Add/Remove programs and by removing the extension reference in Firefox, and installed IExif 2.25. When I try to install the Firefox extension I get a Firefox message that says software installation is disabled, edit options to enable - so I set the Firefox option to allow sites to install extensions. I also tried downloading the .xpi file and running it via the browser address line as your recommended alternative. Neither allows the extension to be installed, and the same Firefox message persists.
A) Is the extension installation software compatible with Firefox 1.5, and with Windows 98? (An .XPI file suggests to me it is not compatible with Win 98 - it is the only file with that extension on my machine)
B) How do you suggest I resolve the problem?
Incidentally, I found IExif to be a great product - perhaps you should get it listed on mozilla.org's list of available extensions once the problem is resolved.
B)

I don't know what is happening in your computer. I can install the program and extension in my computer(WinXP & Firefox 1.5). Can you use other extension successfully? Extensionsmirror.nl list IExif on this page: http://www.extensionsmirror.nl/index.php?showtopic=2293
